Skills
Paula studied Public Relations and followed this with Marketing Management and has thoroughly enjoyed the interaction between the two. She has many years experience in a competitive market place in various roles and specialising in marketing and public relations.
Over the years she has built up a large portfolio of press cuttings and would gladly show them off to prospective clients.

It was announced recently that Paula had won the FreshIdeas Events Mentor Competition and was awarded Karen Darby as her
mentor for the next six months.
Paula is also very proud that Remote Employment won the BT Global Action Plan 'Responsible Business Day' Award and Remote Employment is now working towards an Environmental Management Plan BS8555.

Paula launched the Remote Worker Awards, which aim to raise awareness of remote and home working as a viable alternative to the traditional nine-to-five office routine. There are a wide selection of prizes available including a Home Based Franchise, Five Business Start Ups, a Study Grant, a Penthouse Garden Office and lots of business support rewards. And Paula managed to get all of these prizes sponsored – the total value is more than £50k!
Recent Experience
Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa and The Vineyard at Stockcross
Paula recently held the the position of PR and MARKETING MANAGER for an independent hotel group in Newbury. This was an extremely exciting position as the media liaison for Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa which won several awards including AA Hotel of the Year as well as The Vineyard at Stockcross which received a 2nd Michelin Star amongst other prestigious awards. Here she gained Local, Regional and National PR Coverage, including BBC South Today and ITV prime time viewing.
Oxford University Press
Paula also held the position of Press Officer for Oxford University Press to help launch press campaigns for Children's Books, including authors such as Geraldine McCaughrean's Peter Pan in Scarlet, Korky Paul's Winnie the Witch and Tim Bowler's award winning novels.
Company Care PR
As an Account Manager for a Communications agency in Reading, she managed clients such as Aimia Foods and helped launch Galaxy Hot Chocolate Bliss as well as other campaigns. She also project managed the Gold Bullion and Cape Diamonds websites.
Other information
Along with other daily business, Paula is a SEEDA Women's Enterprise Ambassador and talks to women’s groups around the UK about the exciting new remote working culture. Her personal experience and proof of her determination and persistence is inspirational. Paula’s passion and enthusiasm for knowledge, new experiences, and business focus motivates other women’s belief in their business and renews their confidence.
