Meet The Remote Employment Team
Remote Employment was founded by Ken Sheridan and Paula Wynne. Inspired by the idea of a site that offers 'genuine' remote jobs, including work from home positions, they researched the remote employment concept and a number of appealing findings emerged.
Ken and Paula discovered that 60% of companies questioned said they would use a work remotely employment solution. Half of these companies were already doing so with current employees, and were comfortable with the concept and any challenges it presented. Interestingly enough, 39% of job seekers stated flexible working and work from home jobs as an essential driver in selecting the perfect employer.
Ken Sheridan has worked on major brands such as Pepsi, Tetley Tea, Monster Munch, Jacobs Biscuits, Cow & Gate baby food, Sunkist Orange and Powwow Water both in the UK and internationally.
Sheridan's business experience covers B2B markets, fast moving B2C products, short shelf life brands, brands that are over 100 years old, major product launches and business re-engineering projects.
Sheridan has managed and successfully grown large businesses as well as smaller subsidiaries of 'Top 500' multinational businesses using aggressive sales and marketing programmes to do so.
Ken has some very interesting stories about launching new products and often has his audience in stitches with his quick wit and buckets of guff!

Paula Wynne has PR and Marketing experience in all sectors of the market and until recently held the budgets and implemented campaigns for clients which include The Duke of Wellington's estate, Wellington Country Park.
Paula also contracted as Press Officer for Children's Books at Oxford University Press and PR Manager for an independent hotel group in Newbury.
During her time she was the media liaison for Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa which won several awards including AA Hotel of the Year as well as The Vineyard at Stockcross which received a 2nd Michelin Star amongst other prestigious awards.
Paula aims to help other women to work flexibly as she has needed to do. Remote Employment is her vision for bringing a better quality work life to women across the UK.
Paula is a SEEDA Women's Enterprise Ambassador.
It was announced recently that Paula had won the FreshIdeas Events Mentor Competition and was awarded Karen Darby as her mentor for the next six months. Paula is also working with the other winning Mentees as a group - a combination of skills and experience makes a powerful team.
Paula is also very proud that Remote Employment won the BT Global Action Plan 'Responsible Business Day' Award and Remote Employment is now working towards an Environmental Management Plan BS8555.
Paula and Remote Employment have been nominated in the Top 100 for The Barclays Trading Places Award.
