Home Working Reduces Unemployment Figures
As the government announced the increase in unemployment to 2.5 million, success stories, such as Kerry McGlade’s, shows that home working is a much better option than being out of work.
Typical Mum, Kerry, from Sheffield in South Yorkshire, found herself in the same situation that plaques more than half the British population, but she has beaten the ‘stay-at-home-blues’ and found a home career that works for her and her young family.
After serving five years in a Sheffield City Call Centre, Kerry took maternity leave for her first born and although she had planned to go back to work, another little one came along soon after.
Struggling on one income with her partner working long hours to support his family, Kerry felt the pressure to go back to work, yet couldn’t because her daughters were too young.
When her Mum heard about working from home with Arise Virtual Solutions, Kerry was sceptical and waited for her mother to go through the training before she realised it could perfect for her having to be a stay at home mum with two little ones, aged two and three.
When Kerry signed up and completed her training, she started taking orders and payments by phone. Her 20 hour week fits flawlessly around her partner’s shifts with a couple of hours per morning or afternoon while the little ones are at nursery. She also does most Saturday mornings while her parents look after the girls.
Kerry said: “I can’t believe I thought it was scam, it just seemed too good to be true. It’s the best job I’ve ever done and I’m bringing home more money than my friends who do more hours in town jobs. I recommend this 100%!”
Kerry has now been with Arise for one year and can’t wait for her second child to go to nursery so she can work more hours and jump up an extra 10 hours per week. She is also delighted to take the burden off her partner as the only income earner in their family. They have now bought a car and can also afford to go on holiday with her Arise money.
Working from home with a home based call centre through Arise, is the ideal solution for working parents. Arise enable people to work at home and establish their own 'Virtual Services Corporation', which is then linked through Arise to deliver customer services to large companies, such as Shop Direct and Littlewoods.
Arise Home Workers choose their own hours and provide customer service, technical support and sales services via the phone, email and chat - all done from their home office.
The government also announced that job vacancies have increased by 9,000 to 475,000 in the three months and VP of Strategic Sourcing & Operations, Jared Fletcher commented: ‘As the economy recovers Arise UK will bring more than 1,500 new home based businesses to the UK economy, and we’d like to hear from more Mums like Kerry.’
